Originally hailing from Urbana, Illinois, Karyn made the vibrant city of St. Louis her home 12 years ago after experiencing life in various places like Chicago and Dallas. It was here that she immediately fell in love with the city’s historic charm, exceptional dining, rich cultural scene, and picturesque parks.
Karyn brings a wealth of experience to the table, having served as a library director and holding a BA and MLIS from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She’s knows how to research an issue! Currently, she shares her passion for Interior Design as an adjunct at STLCC Meramec and Maryville University, showcasing her dedication to both education and creativity.
My interior design background adds a unique dimension to my approach – I can envision the potential in every property. So together we can find the perfect move-in ready match or I can offer creative design solutions to homes that need a little love.
Family is at the core of Karyn’s life. Her husband’s career at World Wide Technology and her two children, aged 24 and 21, along with their three beloved cats (Hera, Roscoe, and Mister Sir), complete her circle of happiness. As avid Blues fans and season ticket holders at the Fox Theater, they share a love for entertainment and cultural experiences.
Beyond her professional and family life, Karyn embraces a diverse set of interests. She loves exploring the world, with plans to take her kids to Europe this summer for an unforgettable experience. An avid reader, outdoor enthusiast, and culinary artist, she also finds time for crafty pursuits, including her passion for metalsmithing and jewelry making.
