Andrea Durway June 24, 2018

As we strive to become more environmentally-conscious, making changes to the mechanical and electrical engineering of our homes can make a huge impact in contributing to a sustainable environment, and can save money. Conducting a residential energy audit on your home to assess water use, insulation, HVAC and other areas is a great place to start. There are several loan programs and grants that can assist with financing energy efficiency home improvements and water usage improvements. Set the PACE St. Louis Financing

Set the PACE St. Louis is an innovative program that uses PACE financing to help homeowners and multi-family property owners access affordable, long-term financing for smart energy upgrades to their buildings.

PACE financing allows home and building owners to finance qualifying energy efficiency and renewable energy improvements through voluntary tax assessment. Property owners pay for the improvements over time and the repayment obligation transfers automatically to the next owner if the property is sold. Similar to a sewer tax assessment, capital provided under the PACE program is secured by a lien on the property, so low-interest capital can be raised from the private sector with no government financing required.

  • Streamlined qualification process
  • Low, fixed payments
  • 100% upfront financing

For more information, including eligibility, visit the Set The Pace website or watch the 1.5 minute video below.
