Millions of Americans are expected to feel the impact of the recent cuts to SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) benefits. Of SNAP participants in Missouri, a large portion are children, older adults or people with disabilities — for instance, more than 68% of participants are either children, older (60+) adults, or have a disability. AS their monthly grocery budgets shrink, local food pantries and support organizations will try to bridge the gap.

If you’ve been looking for a way to help, this guide highlights the St. Louis–area food banks and pantries where you can contribute through donations, volunteer your time, or, if you’re in need yourself, find information on receiving services.
