Kansas City, MO – Big Fun, Kid-Approved

Why Go: For a city getaway packed with culture, great food, and activities for all ages. KC is more than BBQ—though that’s definitely a perk. Spend a day exploring Union Station, the National Museum of Toys and Miniatures, and the Science City hands-on exhibit. Add in a streetcar ride through downtown and a scoop (or two) from Betty Rae’s Ice Cream and you’ve got a city adventure the whole family will love.
Where to Stay: Look for downtown hotels near Crown Center or the Crossroads District—walkable and close to the action.

TOP RIGHT – At Children’s Museum Indianapolis, explore five floors of fun and 7.5 acres of outdoor sports experiences. It’s the largest Children’s Museum in the world and exhausting.
