It’s outdoor dining season and we share some of our favorite patio and courtyard dining options in St. Louis. Warmer temps are here and there’s nothing like noshing outside and people watching on a warm sunny day in St. Louis. Here are some of our picks.

Taco Buddha University City

We love Taco Buddha! The patio is totally charming and The Albuquerque tacos are the BEST. We can walk to the new Kirkwood location. I also like the patio at Rooster on South Grand, where I always manage to bump into someone I know.

Taco Buddha |  7405 Pershing Avenue (U. City) and 11111 Manchester (Kirkwood)
Rooster | 3150 S Grand Blvd, St. Louis, MO 63118

I admit to spending a decent amount of time on the patio at Rockwell Brewery. It is just the kind of super casual experience I love. Also a fan of the Rockwell Beer Garden at Francis Park.

Rockwell Brewery | 1320 S Vandeventer Ave, St. Louis, MO 63110
Rockwell Beer Garden at Francis Park | 5300 Donovan Ave, St. Louis, MO 63109

Sasha's on Shaw

Sasha’s is in my neighborhood and I like to keep it as local as possible. Hard to beat the patio at Sasha’s in spring.

Sasha’s on Shaw | 4069 Shaw Blvd. St. Louis, MO 63110

The Royale has a bomb courtyard and fancy bar food. It is one of our favorite spots to enjoy a beer any time of the year. But we like the patio at both Sasha’s locations.

The Royale | 3132 S Kingshighway Blvd, St. Louis, MO 63139
Sasha’s Wine Bar |  706 De Mun Ave #2238, St. Louis, MO 63105

I was so happy to discover Have a Cow Cattle Co. Café in The Gate. This place is so unique, with an urban farm store inside and the staff is super friendly. Love the menu and the patio spaces are fantastic.

Have A Cow Cattle Co. Café | 2742 Lafayette Avenue, St. Louis, MO 63104

Frisco Barroom is one of our favorite patio spots. I like to go on Sunday afternoons and get the charcuterie board and then stop by a walk through Blackburn Park on the way home. I also had dinner and drinks on the patio at Planter’s House last fall with friends and it was so fantastic. It had our expat friend who was visiting really missing St. Louis.

The Frisco Barroom | 8110 Big Bend Blvd, Webster Groves, MO 63119
Planter’s House | 1000 Mississippi Ave, St. Louis, MO 63104

I really enjoy going to 9 Mile Garden. The set up is fantastic, it’s casual, and they have live music or movies often. It is just a great summer spot. And for a quintessential summer in St. Louis experience, The Boathouse in Forest Park can’t be beat.

9 Mile Garden | 9375 Gravois Rd, Affton, MO 63123
The Boathouse | 6101 Government Dr, St. Louis, MO 63110

I love the music, drinks, and food and the Broadway Oyster Bar. It is always so lively.

Broadway Oyster Bar | 736 S Broadway St, St. Louis, MO 63102

Hope you get a chance to enjoy one of these outdoor dining spots soon.
