Three South City Open Houses This Weekend
If you are house hunting in South City, we have three outstanding homes for you to consider. Our three newest listings will all be open this Sunday, August 15th, from 1-3pm.* Two are in Southampton and one is in Lindenwood Park. These are popular neighborhoods in part because of their proximity to highways for easy commuting, but more importantly for their parks and many nearby amenities (so many great restaurants). So let’s explore these homes and their neighborhoods.

More About Southampton
Southampton is quintessentially South City. A charming neighborhood of shady tree-lined streets, gabled roofs, and plant-filled porches, housing styles include Neo-Tudor, brick gingerbreads, converted lofts and Dutch colonials. The Macklind Business District continues to grow into a sought-after foodie destination; while coffee shops, florists and other small businesses line the streets of Hampton, Kingshighway and Chippewa. Macklind Days is the renowned annual fall festival which occurs on the last Saturday in September. The streets are closed from Macklind (from Devonshire to Nottingham) for live music, food and drink vendors, with a kid zone for bounce houses, and more!
More About Lindenwood Park
Lindenwood Park has a small-town atmosphere. The neighborhood hosts Trivia Nights, Lawn and Garden Contests, Movies in the Park, LinFest-Lindenwood Neighborhood Fall Festival and has a community garden. The actual park is 14 acres and includes a playground, pavilion, tennis courts, a softball filed, skating rink, soccer field, and is very popular with walkers. There is an active neighborhood association and within the neighborhood boundaries you can find everything from auto repair, chiropractic services, schools, churches, restaurants and yoga studios. Combine all that with a central location, easy commute to downtown or Clayton (easy access to the Lansdowne Metrolink station) and this neighborhood is a win for anyone wanting walkable lifestyle and easy access to the rest of the city.
