This has been a year of change for our team. All good! I’d like to share some of it with you.
Kristin Fantozzi joined us a few months ago as a Transaction Coordinator. She has amazed us with how quickly she has grasped the details of what it takes to get a property from contract to close. Her even-keeled temperament is perfectly suited for a position that requires juggling a lot of variables — the needs of buyers, title companies, contractors, loan officers, agents, other transaction coordinators. She handles it all with a great sense of calm, and humor. (Full Bio)
How did we find Kristin? She was a former client. We helped her family sell their home on Tennessee in the Carondelet neighborhood in 2016 and buy a home in Fox Park. In fact, they did a double closing (sold and bought) on the same day. We’ll be sharing the unique requirements of a double closing from Kristin’s perspective in a future blog post.
Kristin enjoyed working with our team so much, that when she was ready to re-enter the workforce she contacted me to see if we had any positions. This scenario may sound familiar because our Operations and Marketing Manger, Andrea Durway, came to join my team in a similar way. I helped Andrea’s family buy a home in Grantwood Village at the end of 2013 and then sell their home in early 2014. When Andrea was ready to leave the corporate rat-race, she reached out to me. Now that Kristin is our Transaction Coordinator, Andrea is able to focus more on listing coordination, client care, social media, and operations for the team.

So our team is tight, firing on all cylinders, and ready for our next stage of growth. We need an additional buyer’s specialist to help us meet our ambitious goals. Lance Appleby is doing a stellar job, but we need more horsepower to help us meet the needs of our clients.
