Much Ado Around SLU
There will be a new apartment complex at 3949 Lindell Blvd. on the site of the old Salad Bowl Cafeteria which will include 197 residential units and 15,000 square feet of retail space.
Not far from this construction site there will be another condo conversion. McCormack Baron Salazar sold Westminster Place to Rick Yackey and co-investors in December for $9 million. The idea is to turn it into 163 one and two bedroom condos which will list between $100,000 and $180,000. The developers’ plan is to market these to SLU students and to the current residents.
Both of these developments are within a block of each other and within walking distance to the university, Schnucks, Wal-Greens and Blockbuster.
