It’s Fall Festival season with neighborhoods throughout St. Louis celebrating the onset of crisp weather, changing leaves, and community. Below are details on two festivals coming up this weekend and a property perfectly positioned between the two.
South Grand Fall Festival
Now in its sixth year, the South Grand Fall Festival has grown to feature nearly 70 retail vendors and community organizations. The event takes place this Saturday, September 21, 2019 from 11:00 am – 8:00 pm and will include live music throughout the day in Ritz Park as well as activity areas focused on family fun.
Businesses along this vibrant district will be offering various discounts, specials, and entertainment. Tucked between the storefronts attendees will find arts and crafts activities offered by organizations like Artscope, Perennial, and Tower Grove East Prep Academy. Games like gigantic Jenga, life-size Connect Four, and more will also be happening throughout the festival.
Visitors can enjoy shopping located off of South Grand on Hartford, Juniata, Connecticut, Wyoming, and Humphrey Street.
South Grand Boulevard remains open during Fall Fest. Free parking is available in the lot at 3500 Hartford Street.
Fox Park Fall Festival
The Fox Park Neighborhood Association and DeSales Community Development are partnering to host the 4th Annual Fox Park Fall Festival this Saturday, September 21st from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm at Fox Park. The event celebrates the vibrant, diverse community these organizations serve and promotes healthy lifestyles among community members.
Stop by for activities for the whole family, including visits from the St. Louis Fire Department with a truck, Bubble Magic from The Magic House and from St. Louis Police Department Operation Polar Cops ice cream truck. Numerous community resources will be represented. Attendees can also look forward to face painting, a food truck, table raffles, field and table games, and more. Additionally, there will be 300 free lunches for children 12 and under.
