Fireworks Displays in St. Louis 2016

Below is a quick guide to some of the fireworks displays and festivals going on over the upcoming Independence Day weekend. From the larger events, to the smaller community displays –  there’s something for everyone. Enjoy the long weekend!

Fair Saint Louis

Fair Saint Louis festivities are July 2, 3 & 4 at Art Hill in Forest Park. A family fun zones features games and crafts. Plenty of fair food and drinks.  And of course, free concerts and fireworks. Lee Brice, Sammy Hagar and Flo Rida are this year’s headliners.

July 2, 2016
Noon – Fair opens
7 p.m. – Bobby Bones and The Raging Idiots
8:45 p.m – Lee Brice
10 p.m. – Fireworks

July 3, 2016
1 p.m. – Fair opens
6:25 p.m. – Eddie Money
8:25 p.m. – Sammy Hagar
10 p.m. – Fireworks

July 4, 2016
1 p.m. – Fair Opens
6:25 p.m. – George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic
8:10 p.m. – Flo Rida
9:30 p.m. – Fireworks

Webster Groves Community Days

A four day celebration featuring a carnival, BBQ, parade and fireworks, Webster Groves Community Days is old-school fun . The festival’s held at Memorial Park, just south of Interstate 44 off the Elm Avenue exit.

July 1, 2016
5 p.m. – Festival opens (BBQ, games, carnival rides)
$25 Wristband Night
11 p.m. – Festival Closes

July 2, 2016
Noon – Festival opens
11 p.m. – Festival Closes

July 3, 2016
2 p.m. – Festival opens
9:30 p.m. – Fireworks

July 4, 2016
10 a.m. – Parade
11 a.m. – Festival opens
9:30 p.m. – Fireworks

Jefferson Barracks JB Blast

At the JB Blast you can enjoy music under the stars performed by the Air Force Band of Mid-America, Roots in Blue in the Veterans Memorial Amphitheater (Jefferson Barracks Park) and a brilliant fireworks display to celebrate our country’s birth! Coolers are allowed, but you should bring your own blankets or lawn chairs. Food and beverages available for purchase as well.

July 1, 2016

KIRKWOOD FREEDOM FESTIVAL

July 4, 2016
Where: Kirkwood Park at the corner of West Adams Avenue and Geyer
The annual Freedom Festival festivities kick off at 7pm with live music and food trucks, along with food from the Kirkwood Lions Club. Fireworks at dusk.

FIREWORKS AT SUBLETTE PARK – THE HILL

Where: Sublette Park at Arsenal and Sublette on The Hill
Fireworks at Sublette Park happen on Saturday, July 9, which means you can skip the crowds. Bring a lawn chair and  cooler for fireworks at dusk.

Manchester July 4 Party in the Park

July 4, 2016 
Where: Schroeder Park at 359 Old Meramec Station Rd in Manchester
Music and concessions start at 6pm with fireworks beginning around 9pm.

Ellisville Independence Day

July 4, 2016 
Where: Bluebird Park at Kiefer Creek Road
A 5k and Kid’s Fun Run kick off the morning and games and festivities open at 6pm. Fireworks at 9:30pm.

Chesterfield 4th of July

July 4, 2016 
Where: Chesterfield Mall Parking Lot at 291 Chesterfield Center
Starting at 7pm, there will be a Kids Zone, live entertainment and food vendors. Fireworks at dusk! Bring lawn chairs and/or blankets to sit on.

COMMUNITY FIREWORKS AT RITENOUR

July 3, 2016 
Where: Ritenour High School at 9100 St Charles Rock Road in Breckenridge Hills
This event is sponsored by several neighboring municipalities. Music starts at 7:30pm and fireworks around 9:20pm.

FERGUSON 4TH OF JULY

July 4, 2016 
Where: January-Wabash Memorial Park at 501 N. Florissant Road
The 42nd Annual Independence Day Celebration in Ferguson kicks off with a parade at 10am followed by music and family activities at the park the remainder of the day and fireworks at 9:15pm.
